This guy can tell a story! I really enjoyed the geeky details about gaming and the Internet. It also was fun that a lot of the action took place in and around Houston. The story moved along quickly. All in all a good read.
My only complaint is one that is all too common to "action" books. I really don't need to read all the foul language that many authors seem to think their characters need to use. I can believe they're tough guys without the cussing! ...more

Really loving it so far!!
I enjoyed the book for the first 100 pages or so... but then, to me, it really went off the rails.
I knew Suarez had written another book, but didn't actually realize it was a sequel until I got to the end of this. I think I will be better to be able to judge when I finish that one.
I have a few more things to say, but I feel like it would all have to hide behind a spoiler warning. ...more

Love this. I'm not sure what's more terrifying; how far fetched it is, or how terribly plausible it is.

Decent thriller. Was fun to read something that took a somewhat realistic approach with technology. While the events themselves seem a bit far fetched, someone with unlimited resources, lots of time and willpower could possibly have this effect.
Great book, I can't wait for the sencond part to come out.

Good book, especially at the start as things get going. I think I would recommend it to others who enjoy "cyberpunk" style stories. Definitely an adult read though.
