What Members Thought
I lemmed it, a word which here means, "abandoned it before finishing". Neither the world nor the characters grabbed my interest. I don't rate books that I don't finish, but it was hovering just below two stars.
I do think I figured out the way this book is supposed to be read, though, and that's "as fast as possible". I don't mean that disparagingly. There are some books that should be read at a slow or moderate pace, in order to pick up on nuanced meaning, become immersed in the world, or luxuri ...more
