It took me a long time to get through this illustrated edition of the Sorcerer's Stone partly because my older boys kept borrowing it, and then my 1st grader made me start over so that we could read it together. I loved the artwork! It added another dimension to a story I already love so much. We can't wait to see the rest of them!

I loved this book so much. That might be clear by how many times I have read it. This is more than a story for me. I was going through a really hard time when I was at the same age as Harry is in this book and the story helped me stay sane with step families and families being broken apart. I have always loved this book and I still love reading it.
As always I love this book. It was audio played in our car so my children could listen as well. I did notice details this time around I did not catch the other times I have read this book. Pretty sure this was Read #4 or 5.
