6 stars. All of the stars for this one. Easily my favorite in the series so far. I cried quite a bit during this and I was pretty much stress reading it for a good 75% of it. It was a wonderful experience to say the least. I need wine now and a hug.

I am exhausted. It was very good, brilliant actually but very dark. Too dark for my taste. Now I have to read some light romances before returning to the BDB. The romance was dark and Bella was so good most of the time, but the rest of the book was just a black hole. I guess it is too build tension for future books but I missed the light spots in the first book.
