Great book
This was actually kind of different. Instead of the love at first sight , it was more of a hate and stay away. I really enjoyed Daemon and Katy's constant bickering. It made the story more fun and natural even with the alien thing. Katy was a strong willed female character. She didn't care about the alien thing. She matched Daemon witty, sarcasm with everything she had and never backed down on a fight. These two were just fun and entertaining and can't wait to continue to the next and ...more

Reread 2: January 2019- I enjoyed this book just as much as the first time. I also hope to continue with the series as I have only read the first book. There also were parts that I picked up on this time that I did not the first.
I really enjoyed this book. I believe I will be reading the rest of this series.

Daemon freaking Black!! 😍
I liked Katy and I found Daemon to be a jerk. Typical Girl likes Guy, Guy's an ass, Guy finally smartens up and proves his love, Happily Ever After. Only this time Katy says screw you and by the end of the book Daemon is realizing his folly. I find it funny how the name of the Alien race is a Latin term.
Second time reading this book, I listened to the audio book and I think I liked it more this time around. I still agree with my first assessment but I'm ready to read the next in the series. ...more

This book pulled me in from the very beginning and didn't let go! I'm so glad I waited to read it till I had the entire series at home, that way I can continue the story of Katy and Daemon as soon as possible;)

Paranormal romance perfect for older teens. I did not always like the characters but it caught my attention enough that I bought the sequel.
