A little different for Maya Banks but it wasn't a bad romantic suspense. There was a lot of emotions and action throughout the story. Curious as to how this series will continue and also with Rusty. ...more

I liked this book but I didn't love it. I think I expected more. More action, more suspense, more from the heroine and hero. The premise was a great idea but for me the execution just didn't quite work.
What I loved about this book was the family interactions and all the side characters that really came to life in the book. I liked the author's writing style.
What I didn't like as much was that the heroine just isn't my favorite type of character. Yes, she has been through a lot but she comes acr ...more

Review to follow soon.

My heart aches for this book.
An absolute deserving rating of 5 stars because, hell, this romantic suspense novel DELIVERED. Ethan's love for Rachel gave me tears; gave me hope for a man half like him (Even as we all know it ain't going to be happening in real life) and the plot development really kept me turning the pages.
I absolutely am going to devour the rest of this KGI series since I've found this gem! ...more
