This is a nice addition to the series. I didn't like it as much as the previous ones but it was still a nice read.

I liked Leo and Cat but their story is not as grabbing and alluring as the book about their siblings. I'm not really sure why since they are pretty likeable characters. I just didn't feel those good vibrations I had with the previous books.

Catherine is hiding from her past but it becomes difficult since she and Leo feel the mutual attraction. On top of that, Leo has to marry and do i

Leo, Lord Ramsay, finally gets his HEA and like his sisters, has not gone the conventional route in finding a mate. Catherine Marks has been a companion to Poppy and Beatrix and helped the Hathaways learn to live in polite society. But Catherine and Leo have always been at odds with each other and she doesn't have much patience for Leo. But, opposites often attract and so if the case here. It was fun watching them fight their attraction to each other, and I really enjoyed Dodger's part in the st ...more

Original review from 2013
Leo and Catherine's story and my reasons put it on my bedside re-read pile:
1. Part of LK's fabulous Hathaway series.
2. Everything a romance story *no mater what time period/world* should be.
3. Leo and Catherine. They get everything the deserve and the trip to their HEA is my reward.
Additional review from my birthday present to myself...a 2017 reread-athon of the Hathaways series:
4. The kissing challenge.
5. Dodger.
6. That epilogue.

When Leo, Viscount Ramsay was first introduced in the series, Mine Till Midnight, he was an almost despicable character but by Tempt Me at Twilight he'd become a completely charming and desirable rogue the reader could fantasize about.

Catherine's less auspicious introduction had her safely ensconced in the Hathaway bosom as companion to Poppy and Beatrix by the time she and Leo were introduced and proceeded to have their first contentious and abrasive row. Though many of Cath

For 2 years Catherine Marks has been companion to Poppy and Beatrix Hathaway and hiding from her past. Leo Hathaway, Lord Ramsay, has been her tormentor during all that time; arguing, needling and teasing. This seems to hide a mutual attraction that each denies. Two events force their feelings to the surface. The Ramsay curse and the fate of the manor's ownership are about a year away. It seems Leo must marry and produce an heir to maintain the manor and avoid the curse which has had all previou ...more

This is my least favorite in the series. I liked Leo in all the other books but I though the second half of this book was very boring. I am not going to read the last one in the series because Beatrix seems boring.
