A one star rating is I did not like the book and that is it in a nutshell. It is well written and all the appropriate pieces are in place plotwise, but I could not warm to either of the main characters and their story failed to draw me in.

What I liked:

1. Fresh Italian heroine Miss Fiori (although she was even more fun in the first book)
2. Melting "Duke of disdain"
3. The secondary cast
4. Sarah MacLean's writing

What I didn't like:

1. Inconsistent hero and heroine
2. Too many TSTL-moments

I just wanted to shake them. When someone offers to marry you after you've been compromised and you say that "it's only because I was compromised" please take a moment and think that they are gentleman who knows that they will marry when they compromi ...more

Contre toute attente, je n'ai pas franchement accroché à ce troisième tome. Certes, tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour passer un bon moment, mais malheureusement, pour une fois, la magie n'a pas opéré.

Simon est un héros délicieux, typique du genre de personnage que j'aime en romance historique, et le moins que l'on puisse dire, c'est que Julianna est fougueuse. Mais au final, elle m'a agacée.
