I really enjoyed this story! I definitely love a book centered around revenge and a marriage of convenience.

Overall this was a good story. I say this because it kept me interested the entire time.
The Marquess of Borne is one of the most infuriating hero's that I have read about in a long time. Reading this story drove me crazy, because even though I was getting some of the story from his point of view it still was not doing enough to endear him to me. Romance novels have such dumb titles. It bugs me because it makes me not want to read them... I know, I know, don't judge a book by it's cover-erm-title. This was a surprisingly delightful bit of romance, though the title put me off. This was one of those, "I haven't read any historical trashy romance novels in a while and I want to, so I'll just grab the first one I get to on the shelf" type of novels. Sometimes when I'm in the library, I have these moods.
