What the Feck?
A couple of things first off: 1) I wasn’t overly impressed with this origin story; 2) this is an adult story, even though the lead is a teen; 3) there are mentions and cameos of Mac and Barrons but they are not the headline here and; 4) you don’t have to read the initial Fever series before reading this book (but some of those pesky leftover questions and consequences are answered here.)
That being said Dani is the best character to tell this story set in the Fever ...more

I'm going to try to keep this spoiler free for those who may not have read the Fever series yet. I really enjoyed this book! It was interesting getting to see this world from a point of view other than Mac's. For the most part, I enjoyed Dani's narration, although her constant use of the word "Dude" did occasionally get on my nerves.
