Oh my gosh, i loved this book, the pace, the action, the main characters. I'm very excited to be continuing on. Im so curious about things in the series now AND i LOVE that part of this story takes place in a huge, gorgeous book store! *sigh* just 3 degrees of yay!!

This book is about MacKayla who just lost her sister, when she was brutally murdered. Her sister has been living in Dublin when she was studying abroad, while MacKayla had been living at home with her parents in the US. Really, really not for me. I can't read books where I hate the characters and I hated the MC and wasn't too fond of the other people involved either. There wasn't a single page of this book without a comment about how girly, pretty, pink, spoiled, young, indolent, silly, etc. she was and I have no interest in following her journey. I hope she grows up but I don't think it will be enough or fast enough for me.

I loved the book as a whole. But, I was expecting more from the ending. It seemed like it was rushed compared to the rest of the book. If it wasn't for that, I would've rated it 5 stars.
