It was my fist book by Moning and it didn't disappoint. It was entertaining and fast paced. It took me a while to get used to ditzy southern belle MacKayla, but by the end of the book she had grown on me. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

I read the first book in the Fever series and I was not impressed. Partially it's because I was expecting a paranormal romance and got urban fiction; there's actually no romance at all in this book which is surprising when there's 2 naked people on the cover! This wouldn't have been a big deal but I wasn't really in the right reading mood for it.
Aside from that, I had major issues with the main characters. I thought Mac was shallow, annoying, immature...I could go on but you get the point. I als ...more
