I've had a few opportunities to read this book over the years, but somehow it never happened. I do not know why. Maybe I was even a little afraid that this book would let me down. But if that's true, it's completely unnecessary because this book turned out to be excellent, of course. This couple of authors simply know how to write a great story and good characters.

I like Andrea and really felt for her pain, especially when (view spoiler). If they continue the World of Kate Daniels series, I hope Roman gets his own story as I'd like to know more about him (got to love the Eeyore pjs) and he deserves someone special.
