I envision Susan Cain as a motivational speaker for introverts - which is probably pretty accurate. If the culture of 'Corporate America' exhausts you like it does me, this book will help give some great insights as to why.

So I have two different sides.
The work side and the Home Side.
At work I am an extrovert always trying to rise ahead. I talk I carry on. But as for my personal side I am a true introvert. I really enjoyed this book and I enjoyed learning about the New Me I have definitely changed due to events that have happened in my life. This was one of the most boring books I listened to in a long time and I have listened to some doozies this year. I tried speeding up the audio, but that didn't help. I kept losing my concentration on it. It was just so repetitive and not very interesting. I had high hopes for it after all the rave reviews I heard on it, but at 41% I just couldn't stand the torture and DNF'd it ...more
