This book really made me think. Having some definite introverted tendencies myself, it was so nice to hear someone say that those characteristics can actually be a positive thing. I particularly enjoyed the parts about introversion and Asian cultures (I live in Japan), and the suggestions for how a mixed couple,in which one partner is an extrovert and the other is an introvert, can communicate better in spite of different communication styles.

Loved this book! Was a very empowering and insightful experience reading it and identifying myself in so much of what Cain writes about.

Excellent book! Both my daughter and I are introverts and can relate. I like the authors referring to well known people who also are introverts and achieved much. I liked the fact that she referenced biographies in the back of the book.
