This is a powerful and engaging book that is written entirely in verse. It chronicles a young girl’s foray into meth and other substances and the spiral her life takes as a result. I’m looking forward to reading the sequel!

This book is considered poetry which normally I would never read. However this book had some pretty good reviews and I am glad that I decided to read it.

The writing style was a little confusing for me but I understand the reason for it. As she got more and more strung out the thoughts and actions became more disjointed which caused the writing to get more disjointed as well.

This book is a very different format from my regular read. It was a bit crazy at times but it was a nice change of pace for me.

While I enjoyed the book, I will admit I was hoping for more. I expected that there would have been some amazing poems that the author would have worked the whole story around.
