I first started this in audiobook but the narrator said nucular (yes, instead of nuclear) in the first few minutes of the book so I HAD to switch to print.
The book had some cute moments but as a person who doesn't text as much, I couldn't believe how this people would prefer to text each other rather than look at each other and talk about their feelings face to face. I guess I'm just old fashioned.

Ok the whole beginning of this book is ridiculous. Poppy loses her engagement ring and then her cell phone is stolen. She freaks out because without her cell there's no way anyone can contact her if they find the ring. Then she finds a cell phone in a trash can and decides it's her new phone number. The phone actually belongs to Sam Rockton's PA and he wants the company phone back. Once you get past how ridiculous this all is the book is quite fun and I really like Sam.

Cute book.

Poppy Wyatt is about a week away from her wedding and loses her engagement ring in a bizarre but completely believable way involving bridesmaids, tea, and a fire alarm at a hotel. While panicking over the lost ring, her cell phone is also stolen but she needs a phone in case the hotel employees finds the ring. By pure luck, she finds that someone has thrown away a cell phone in the garbage in the hotel lobby. Hilarity ensues as she works through her ring dilemma while also getting involved with

At first I think this book was a bit ridiculous. Who loses their wedding ring while letting other people try it on? Why would you pick up somebody else's cell phone out of the trash and use it?
However, shortly after you get used to these preposterous situations, it pays off. A really hilarious moment occurs, and then you think, Ah now I get it!
Put your brain aside and enjoy this funny book. ...more

This was a really cute read! I've really been enjoying Sophie Kinsella books lately, the plots are never what you think they're going to be. In this novel, there was a tie in to Twenties Girl that I finished last month :)
