This has to be the most random, ridiculous yet entirely amusing novel I have ever read! Eccentric and bizarre are just a few ways this book can be described. If you are looking for a serious space opera novel, go elsewhere. This is anything but. At first I read my old papaerback book and had a blast. The second time was listening to the audiobook narrated by Stephen Fry. And oh my-it was even better!! He brought this to life!

This was an enjoyable read. I found it hard to get into at the beginning but I really enjoyed the twists it had in in. I found it amazing how much in it is now comes up in general knowledge.
I was really pleasantly surprised by this story. I have never seen the movie and really didn't know much about the storyline. It was humorous and clever and I can't wait to finish the series.
