I really, really wanted to like this one. I had heard great things about it from others; unfortunately, it just wasn’t for me.
I think a big reason why the book didn't jive with me was because I didn't understand many of the allegories that Pratchett and Gaiman use in their book. Specifically, they used a lot of biblical references that flew right past my head as an irreligious person with very little knowledge of the Bible. The book was decent, there were moments when it made me chuckle, but there was one part that I really disliked. I listened on audiobook and jotted the sentence down, I realize Crowley is a demon...
