This is one of those books I've been putting off for so long, because everyone told me I'd love it and all the hype worries me. So I let it die down (a lot) and when I just can't wait anymore, I read it. Sometimes it is hype. I don't recall dreaming about a book I was reading until I picked this one up. It's so funny I found myself laughing out loud and I woke up reading pages from this book!
Put two unlikely characters together such as a fussy angel and a demon who loves the fast life and you can't help but be entertained. The two who have been together since the beginning rather like this world of ours and the life they live in it. Forget the roles they are to play on this old earth.

Loved it. An apocalyptic romp with some real laugh out loud moments. Two very clever authors on their their own, together they are superb. It is touted as a children's book, though I would suggest older, even teens would be more appropriate as it is theologically quite complicated and there are the occasional swear words smattered throughout. You can see why this book became a cult classic, it is genuinely very clever with a frenetic pace that speeds you among without losing any of the suspense
