Made it to a 4star read for me. It started a bit slow and I wanted to put it aside but I stuck with it and ended up being happy about it.

What worked for me? First & Foremost Deuce – really good character and I loved her choices. I also enjoyed her seeing topside for the first time. This would have gotten a 5 star if it wasn't for Stalker, he seriously creep me out. And the whole possible love interest...eww. I mean I believe people can change, and I understand that he did a lot of what he did b/c its all he knew and he wanted to survive, but a massive change like that takes time. Other than that I loved it. ...more

I liked the characters ok, and the premise wasn't bad, but the writing wasn't all that good. I won't be bothering with the rest of the series. ...more
