I had to take a break from reading while I finished up my last semester of undergrad. I came back to... this. I'm sorry, I can't. The other three books were a pain to get through and I do not want to start off my summer reading with a crap book that I know is going to be crap.

This is the fourth book in the uglies series. I liked this book, but not as much as the first three. This book did have a connection to the previous three, but I didn't like how much later it was.

I love the story in this book but I can't stand the language they use. It drives me bananas and makes me feel dumb when reading. I found that very distracting. This is one of those series that I am finishing because I started it but not because I love it.

This was an okay read. I think the world gets a little tired by the Fourth book. Also there was just a lot of random things happening in this book that I wasn’t super invested in. It also doesn’t have as much of a plot link to the first three books, like if they hadn’t bothered bringing back some old characters this could have been tweaked and been a decent standalone but compared to the rest of the series it’s lackluster.
