Completely solid second considering the first took me a second to get into. The cliffhanger from that one is nuts and then this picks up almost like nothing happened.
If you want to read these you definitely have to read them in order to get a handle on everything. I loved where it started and was glued to my seat through this as well.

Not a good as the first book. Didn't like how the book started with Tally already being "pretty" and the time jump from the first book. Also, the love triangle was frustrating and just didn't grab my attention. :( Parts were good, though!

After reading Uglies I was not sure I even wanted to try this one. Well, I did and I am still unsure about how I really feel about the book or the series.
This was like a complete replay of Uglies just on the other side of the street or river or whatever the heck it was.

After reading Uglies I really could not wait to read Pretties and I did not dissappoint me. The book suprised me and that is always a good thing. Immediately ordered Specials and just can't wait to know what happened to Tally!
