This is the best of the Dresden Files that I have read till date. I basked in its excitement, enjoyed my fill to the fullest, went on craving for more and more. Don’t I sound like a little hungry vampire in the making? If turning into one as such let me feed on alluring Dresden tales like this one, well well, count me in! :D

I am so glad my niece told me about this series. I love Harry Dresden though this one was a hard battle and I thought we had lost Harry a few times. There is a disturbance with Ghosts and evil beings coming over from the Nevernever. They all seem connected to Harry. Will Harry with Michael his friend and white knight working for the Lord with his sword they have to work out who is behind it all, how to stop it before both end up dead.

I'm usually pretty happy with things not going the expected way in books. That being said, I hate the ending to this installment. I'm really bummed that it ended that way. *Sigh*. Oh well. I would probably rate this book four stars except I'm not really into women sexually... and Harry is way to into their body parts sometimes to keep my interest. That being said, I did have to put this book down for a while and it was easy to return to, so it can't all be bad and I certainly enjoyed it. ...more

This book is not as incely as the first two of the series, which I suppose is good...

Surprisingly, I will read the next in the series to see where it goes. It seems I 'need' to have a series where I don't particularly like, and often actively dislike, the protagonist but for some reason keep reading it to see if it improves. I guess I'm an optimist, eh?
