4 stars. That ending was so rude! It caught me completely off guard. This was easily my favorite book in this series. So many revelations and the action and humor were top notch. I always forget how much I love this series until I pick it up again. Harry Dresden is a hot mess but his growth and development has been fantastic to see. You're killing me Jim...really. That ending was..I can't even put it into words what you did to me. I realize this is not "the end" for Harry, but still. Between what he had to do at the ending, I don't even know if I can even function today. ...more
