The first of the Kinsey Millhone mysteries read...from there, the previous novels were read as they were available in the library. After that, all were read as they came out.
Love Kinsey's independence,sassiness, and her VW Bug and her neighbor and landlord Henry (he has got to be one of the coolest characters in this series). The stories are complex enough as the private detective figures out the mystery.

Another audio book read by Mary Peiffer. She does a good job--I'm starting to think of her as the voice of Kinsey. In this book Kinsey is set up as co-conspirator in arson and insurance fraud so her client is herself. She revisits with old friends, Ashley Wood and her family, facing danger together as she tries to clear her name with California Fidelity. #5 in the Kinsey Millhone series.

Quick read. A person from Kinsey’s past makes an appearance. The last part of the book was more exciting than the book overall.
This series keeps me turning pages way past my bedtime.
