4 stars. I am so in love with this damn series. It’s just so fascinating and while the books aren’t always fast reads and sometimes tough to get through because of how dense they can be they are still so interesting.

The Wind Through The Keyhole is the eight volume of the Dark Tower series but actually it's supposed to be read between volume four and five. I love Dark Tower books and it made me happy to read again about Roland. The story inside a story was incredibly wonderful and very touching.

So this one was written a lot later than book #4, and maybe that was it, but I found Wizard and Glass near unreadable and Wind on such a higher level that it's almost like another person wrote it. I liked the Wind Through the Keyhole (the story within the story within the story) more than the Skinman (the story within the story), but both are related to each other and they're coherent and self-contained.
