This is my first time reading this novel, though I know the story quite well as the 1995 version is one of my favorite films. I don't know why I put it off for so long, but once I started it I just fell in love with the story...even more! If you haven't read Pride & Prejudice I highly recommend it. :)

I've tried multiple times to finish P&P and I can't bring myself to read more than a few pages at a time without needing a break. I find it boring and at times insufferable. None of the characters are very likable except Elizabeth, and Darcy is kind-of an ass so I just can't want a relationship for them.

I tried to watch the movie once, but I fell asleep so I never knew how the story ended. When I had my eye surgery I couldn't read, so I started to listen Pride and Prejudice. The characters are entertaining, but I was a little bit annoyed by Mr. Darcy. But apart from that I quite enjoyed listening to this.
