** not really one of my favorities in regards to plot, but it was interesting to read the dialogue among the characters about Austen's books ... also has a collection of quotes at the end about Jane Austen by her family and various authors over a two-century span ... I found this to be intriguing! ...more

The writing is not good, the characters are weak, and the plot even weaker. Our book club really didn't care about any of the characters. We certainly didn't agree with the good reviews the book received. ...more
