I read Again the Magic many years ago and didn't remember a thing about it. With this re-read I know why I originally rated it 2 stars - the misunderstanding is one of the stupidest I've ever read.

Great book! I read it straight through. Ms Kleypas has a way of getting you so emotionally involved it is almost like you are there in the moment. I truly felt the anguish in both hero and heroine. . Though this is a prequel to the Wallflowers series, I think it should be read after Book #2: It Happened One Autumn, because it shows a softer, protective side of Marcus Marsden. And I think Book #2 is better read while you think he's a stuffy boor.

McKenna is a delicious self-made hero. He wants to devastate Aline Marsden for playing him when they were young, but his revenge is a double-edged sword. (view spoiler)

The only thing that kept me reading it is that I've heard that the Wallflowers series is one of the best and I was told that this story came first.
The thing I didn't like about this book was the lack of communication. I can't stand it when the entire conflict between the hero and heroine is their ina
