I read Again the Magic many years ago and didn't remember a thing about it. With this re-read I know why I originally rated it 2 stars - the misunderstanding is one of the stupidest I've ever read.
Aline and McKenna were in love as teenagers but he was a groom and she was the daughter of an Earl. Being teenagers though, they fool around and McKenna is sent away when they are discovered. The only thing that kept me reading it is that I've heard that the Wallflowers series is one of the best and I was told that this story came first.
