What Members Thought
This didn't intrigue me nearly as much as the first book in the series. I still like Cross and his family and friends. But the mystery seemed entirely too gory, and something I counted as a strong plus in the first book ("[T]he twists and turns of the plot were complicated, engaging, and sometimes surprising.") felt sadly missing here.
