OK, I admit it, I am a sucker for Stephanie Plum! Has her character developed? No! Is there a formula in the writing style? Of course! Are you still torn between Morelli and Ranger? Either one would be nice. This is not high literature - it is "sit back and chuckle" writing. I like Stephanie Plum books the same way I like candy corn pumpkins - in small bits: two or three pumpkins one time a day. More than that - sugar overload!!!
