I know that some feel Stephanie has run her course, but this series is my guilty pleasure. I usually read them in one sitting and enjoy every minute of it. This was no exception. Stephanie returns from Hawaii with a secret and a strange photo. She soon has fake FBI agents, real FBI agents and a couple of crazed killers after her. She is at odds with both of her two favorite men and tries to fend for herself. The usual suspects keep me smiling. Gotta love Lula!

I wasn't impressed at all by the previous book in this series, which is probably why it took me so long to start this one. However, I really liked this one, good job Janet. Not quite as great as the first couple books, but now all the characters are like close friends instead of the new eclectic group of characters. I was slightly disappointed that no cars blew up...compacted yes, but none blown up :(
