theatrical murder. I dont know if I am audacious, but The Murder of Roger Ackroyd or And then there were none were far believable and far more executionable. Christie, twisted the above 2 masterpieces so much, that twists in plot dont come in as a shock anymore. So, when Poirot propounds his alternate solution, I was more or less expecting it.

This was a great version to listen to. Really drew me in and made me picture the scenes. I liked the variety of characters, there was a huge variety and they were genuinely interesting. Trying to piece togther the clues given is always facinating in an Agatha Christie book and this one does not disappoint.
As always there are certain dated phases and situations that show just when the book was written but nothing that would put me of reading it.

I've read other Agatha Christie books, but for some reason I'd never picked up a Poirot novel. This was a fascinating read, and the plot was great.
