This was a great version to listen to. Really drew me in and made me picture the scenes. I liked the variety of characters, there was a huge variety and they were genuinely interesting. Trying to piece togther the clues given is always facinating in an Agatha Christie book and this one does not disappoint.
As always there are certain dated phases and situations that show just when the book was written but nothing that would put me of reading it.

This is well-known enough that I already had some idea of the plot, and may actually have seen the movie once. So I didn't have all the element of surprise a reader totally new to the story would've. Nevertheless, I marveled at the intricate working out of the plot -- both by Christie and by her protagonist, Poirot, and found it great fun to read.
