Oh, my God! This is rocking incredible! Another undisputable FAV for all eternity! This book needs to be pill-packaged and sold to depressed people worldwide!

Having just read this right after reading my favorite book of 2020, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, this book just didn't compare. However, it is a really good book in its own right. The hard part was that I figured out the ending way too soon, which took a bit of the enjoyment out of the book. That was a big contrast to The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue which held my attention to the very end and ended in a way I did not at all expect.

I was wary of this one. I was a little scared I was not going to like this book. So much hype but man it was fantastic. Little dark with lots of hope and no easy outs at the end. This was not your typical happy ending but even better than if everything was roses and sunshine because that would defeat the whole message in this book. Very good, everyone should read.

This was kind of an interesting concept. Being in-between life and death a person is able to choose a different life to live. The lives are based on choices not made. In this instance the room was a library with thousands of books that each led to another life. At any point when disappointment was felt or dissatisfaction you would return to pick another until your time runs out. One characters room was like a video store.

Thought provoking
The beginning of this book was a little rough for me and I almost didn’t continue. I’m so glad that I did. It was very fun to see the potential lives. I don’t want to spoil it but I both loved the ending and also questioned it. One of my favorite aspects of the book was realizing that some of her regrets were not even based in reality, like that she thought she was a bad cat owner. This rang some bells for me. I am planning on recommending it to several people.

I bought this book ages ago, but couldn't get myself to start reading it. Even though I loved other books by Matt Haig. A few days ago I decided it was time to read this book. I really like the concept of this book. The different possibilities in life, all within one person. As a protagonist, Nora was a bit annoying, but I didn't mind too much. I just figured her dark side and moodiness was part of her depression. As an author, mr Haig did a great job.

What a waste of time. If only I DNF'd it when I first thought of doing so! I had hoped it would get better, alas it did not. The beginning was quite depressing and for the most part, although not quite as depressing, the book did not really improve any. The other books that I could have listened to instead In my book of regrets is reading this book!
