OMG. This book. This story reminds me of those I read a rather long-time ago, when I first became hooked on fantasy. It's bringing me back when I have not read many like it in recent years. It is the story of a young girl, lost to her real world; of a father, lost to his; of the link between friends and family; of life with imagination (and without). It is the story of the power of the written word.
