What Members Thought
First off, please understand my 3 star rating is mostly because I am not a contemporary romance fan. I rarely really enjoy them a lot. But my personal enjoyment does come into play when I rate a book and I do struggle with this genre, including this book.

Loved the characters, loved their growth as individuals and their relationship. LOVED the chronic pain/illness rep. Hated that all the sex scenes felt super abrupt and out of character. Still though, overall a cute read!

I pretty much only had a single problem with this book which was the main character Chloe. I just didn't vibe with her at all. She came off supremely rude and kind of mean pretty often. I didn't *quite* get why Red was super into her honestly. And because of her personality sometimes her and Red's banter was a total hit with me, but something it just really wasn't at all.
I loved everything else about this book though! I loved Red, he was totally swoon worthy. I really liked the concept ...more

Loved every minute of this audiobook. Fabulous story, fantastic characters. Don't let the cover fool you, this book brings the spice. Redford has worked his way right onto my book boyfriend list (of which there are now 2 entries...he's snuggled up with Jamie Fraser). I don't have many 5 star books, so you know I really loved this one!
