What a ride....
Dark Matter was the first book I read by the author and it made me a fan. Very fast paced, hard to put down and fascinating. I enjoyed every minute of it.
Started out really strong then kind of started getting more meh the further along it went. Once you figured out what was really going on then the story lost a lot of its umph. It got a little more interesting towards the end when shit started hitting the fan with (view spoiler). But I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. So I think 3 stars is a good rating to end with.

Not what I expected, but suspenseful. Held my interest.
Jason Dessen is a physics professor living with his wife and son in Chicago. Jason is happy but occasionally wonders what would have happened if he had stuck with his doctoral work and his wife had become an artist. Then one day Jason is attacked and he ends up in an alternate reality. There are a lot of twists and turns after this but I don't want to give the plot away. A gripping, fast read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book about science, multi-dimensions and success. It's sort of like time travel but the different versions of the world were fascinating.

I really enjoyed this in spite of finding it confusing especially towards the end.
What an interesting book! Hope there is a Book 2.
