I found myself forgetting that Evelyn Hugo is not a real person, she felt so real!

What an incredible book. Full of drama, emotion, personal human struggles, lies and love. Worth every minute, a great audiobook.

My only gripe is that the french accent of Max doesn't sound very convincing.

One of the best books I’ve read this year. Top notch characters. I had to wait a few months to finish it because of the waiting list at the library.

From a favorite author a different kind of book than she normally writes. I wanted to love it, but no.............it just never clicked with me, however near the end I teared up a few times. 3 1/2 stars.

I found Evelyn's story very interesting, though she wasn't always likeable, and as in the other book I've read by this author I could believe Evelyn was a real actress. I thought Monique's story was rather boring so it lowered my rating of the book a bit. Early on the book took a turn I didn't expect a ...more
