It's funny when you go back and re-read a book and realize how much you've forgotten.

Charley may use humor to get through her rough moments but she does know her limits. She shows her fears and anger just like anyone else but she'll do her best to do what's right and protect those she loves with the help of her hot demon Reyes.

This MC is very quirky, and strong got to love her, and her cast of sidekicks as well as her love interest and family.
Can't wait to see what she gets up to in book 5

Although she's not interested in taking any PI jobs, she does become involved in a case from a woman who is convinced someone is trying to kill her. So, Charley jumps in with both feet.

I like the growth of Charley's character in this book. As usual, she puts

loved this one - Charley has changed a bunch. She is coming into more of her powers but still struggles with family stuff.

This is for my fellow thrift store shoppers, my used book store haunters, my thrifty bargain table friends...do not read this book out of order. You will regret it, this was my first Charley Davidson audiobook and perhaps I should have waited until I found the previous three. Not only does this book have a lot going on and recovery from the previous book, Charley routinely gives things around her names and if you are a little distracted because you are driving you might think "well here is anoth ...more

This book had me laughing through each chapter. The main character is witty, sarcastic and A.D.D. as ever in this forth book. This series just seems to get better and better. I can't wait to start book five. ...more
