I love Charley. Her sense of humor is just so out there and she's quick too. The stuff that comes out of her mouth is just amazing. And Reyes. Other than yummy, what can I really say? I'm getting past Charley's sense of humor and I have to admit that some of her snarky-ness is starting to rub off on me. I'm not so annoyed with it anymore. I listened to the audiobook version of this book, and so my review is a combination of both Darynda Jones' writing as well as Lorelei King's narration.

So far, I have listened to the audiobook of all the Charley Davidson series, and I plan to continue with the audiobooks.

I think the story itself is interesting enough to keep my interest and keep me wanting to continue on, but it's not quite good enough to bump up to my "favorites" shelf. I think Darynda J * Review also posted on Born A Booklover *

I think the story itself is interesting enough to keep my interest and keep me wanting to continue on, but it's not quite good enough to bump up to my "favorites" shelf. I think Darynda Jones has done very well in creating her own type of Grim Reaper as well as explaining the story behind her (Charley) and the Devil's son (Reyes).
I have always enjoyed Charley's up-beat and smart-aleck attitude, though sometimes her complete and utter lack of care got on my nerves. Of course, she still had her moments of silliness, I was happy that Charley had toned down her outrageous antics a little bit.

Lorelei King also delivers the book in audible form beautifully. Her vocal intonation matches the excitement level with perfection, and the voices she chooses for each of the (main) characters helps form a visual of what they might look like.

Overall, Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet is a fun and exciting read with a nice blend of humor, romance, and the supernatural. ...more

I can't say enough of how much in love I am with Charlotte "Charley" Davidson. There are not many heroines who can be both kickass, fun, and funny as hell all at the same time.

Loved the book. I find that Charlie has a great sense of humor and makes the book even better. I enjoy her names she gives her whole body as well as her car and other things. I look forward to the next book.
