Ok, so it took me a bit to get into...what with the weird writing style and the strange dialect. It's not that those were huge issues, I just struggled with it. Add to that Saba's almost creepy infatuation with her brother...this book had me rolling my eyes several times with creeped out disdain during the million times Saba was describing how she couldn't live without Lugh...I mean, really? Her "Golden Heart?" It just kinda gave me the heebs.

I cannot believe I had this for over two months and I just started it this weekend. Why? I'll never know, but this book was so good. By the end I felt like I had been right along side Saba and Emmi the entire time. I was on the edge of my seat throughout most of this book. I love Jack all the other characters. She left it open and I do so hope there is another installment.

I had to reread this book before I start the rest of the series. Still a great book full of action and adventure. My favorite ...more
