I loved this book. I adored Ari and Dante and I can't wait to read more about them.

This is the story of a friendship between two young boys that blooms into something more as they grow older and enter their last year of high school. The thing I really loved about this book is how the parents are portrayed. Both of the boys that two parents that are together. The parents aren't perfect; they have complicated characters. Yet, they love their sons so much, and they are really good parents. This is so refreshing to see in YA literature. This was just a very feel good story.

A coming-of-age story about family and identity. Ari has twin sisters who are much older than him, a brother in prison that no one talks about and no friends - until he meets Dante at the pool one Summer. It took me a little while to connect with the story but by the end I really appreciated its sweetness and warmth, it's a quick, feel-good read.
