Good grief! Does this woman (the protagonist) ever stop complaining?!? Is there no one, not one single person ever in her life that does not treat her badly, abuse her, disappoint her, not live up to her expectations?!? Is there nothing or no one in her life that she is unable to find fault, usually multiple faults, with?!? Does she every stop moaning and groaning, and fault finding, and complaining?!? Anna Quindlen is a great author and I love this homey story. This book is about finding beauty wherever you are and loving people that are good for you regardless of what you think you deserve or what other people think. Rebecca Winters is a photographer who is struggling financially after years of being well to do.
