I loved this book. It was the first book I've read by Jenny Colgan and I'm hooked. The character, Nina's, love for books has sparked more passion in me to read more. Sparked the joy of reading and wanting others to read. ♡♡ ...more

I enjoyed this book. I was drawn to it because of the word "bookshop" in the title, other than that I had no idea about the story line. It is one of those books that just drew me in and I couldn't wait to get back to it. What could be bad in a book about books and someone who loves to read. ...more

A fun, light read. I enjoyed the characters, although Nina is a bit too self-absorbed, careless of other people's welfare unless it suits her purpose.

Thus. she changes one life after another through the power of storytelling, watching people of all ages reading, reading, reading. Nina is shy and quiet until it comes to choosing books. ...more

The name of the book has been changed from the UK version where it was the titled Little Shop of Happily Ever After, which made perfect sense. Nice book that was a quick read even on nights when all I wanted to do is collapse in bed.

I loved all the literary references and book suggestions. The story was a little predictable, but still well done.
