Personally I loved reading this book. I found this book interesting. Once I got started I could not put the book down. Granted the mother was a bit crazy and.got on my nerves but other then that I liked it. People may have different opinions on how she wrote this but we all see things differently.

This was a really enjoyable read, and just what I was looking for today. Sophie Kinsella is just one of my favorite authors.

Sophie Kinsella is one of my favorite authors. This is the first of her forays into Young Adult fiction that I have read, and I hope it won't be the last. She does a really nice portrayal of a teen girl with social anxiety, taking it completely seriously without getting overly heavy. I would definitely recommend this to teens to help them understand those suffering from various forms of mental illness.
The only gripe I might have with this book is that the protagonist was brought out of her shell ...more

The mom in this book is crazy. It was hard for me to take her very seriously.
