While this took me a couple months to read, I really enjoyed it.
I do feel like this was a set up book. It's important to read so you know what brought the characters to certain points BUT be prepared to wonder for the first 3/4 of the book what the point of all of this is. Even though not a lot happened in those first 750 pages, I was still engaged and I wanted to find out what happened.
The last 250 pages though really ramped up and things were happening and we were getting some explan ...more

Took me over a month to listen to this...45.5 hours. Excellent. Much like Jordan, he can certainly fill pages! Dragged a bit from time to time, but the foundation book of a ten book series of tomes tends to have a bit of things thrown in for later reference.
