Interesting story, well written. I felt just as confused as the lead character, who doesn't have a clue who he is.
But it's tough to read in places, due to the intense violence, especially knowing it's against children. ...more

So, I really enjoyed the book at the beginning. Around halfway through it, there were some frustrations.
There were a lot of pointless things in the book.
Thomas kept saying he "just knew" he had to do things and do them a certain way. He just had these feelings, but they were never explained. I mean...in real life, gut feelings are real, but I'm pretty sure every single person ever questions those feelings. And I'm also pretty sure th ...more

A really good YA book. I don't see why someone would use cbildren for their own purpose but I have to say that these are smart kids. I can't wait to see if the movie will be as good as the book. I guess I can't expect it to be exactly as the book but as least good enough.
