Fast paced and easy to read, this held my attention and I really like the characters. Also, robots.

I usually really enjoy fairytale retellings. This was no different for me. This was a retelling of Cinderella, which is obvious from the title.
So we meet Cinder, who's working as a mechanic and doing all sorts of chores for her step mother and her step sister. As if it's not enough, she's also a cyborg and is looked very much down upon from peers. They all have this idea that since she's a robot, she's got no emotions. Sehr unterhaltsam zu lesen, ein spannender Mix aus YA, Sci-Fi und Märchen. Die Story ist eine Mischung aus Aschenputtel und Sailor Moon und obwohl das sehr widersprüchlich klingt, wurde es handlungsmäßig alles sehr gut zusammengeknüpft.
Cinder war eine sehr sympathische Heldin, die ich wirklich mochte. Ich hätte mir ein bisschen mehr Hintergrund zu ihrer bösen Stiefmutter gewünscht, aber gut, diese erfüllte genau die Rolle, die sie im Märchen auch hat. Sie ist die böse Stiefmutter.
